While getting out of the crisis the industry starts demonstrating new trends of development. At Finnish exhibition PulPaper, which took place in Helsinki early June, it was obvious that growth of Pulp and Paper industry is feasible only at the cost of new and developing markets. Russia is recognized as one of the most attractive one.
The General Manager of Reed Exhibitions Russia Gregory Zaraisky commented this trend: “An outstanding agreement between companies ILIM and METSO shows the real direction of interests of the world pulp and paper market in respect of geographical development. This motivates PAP-FOR exhibition team to maintain and evolve the status of the best trade ground in Russia for searching the new projects and investments”.
At the beginning of June PAP-FOR team together with the International Paper Engineers' Association (PI) held more than 70 meetings with the major foreign companies among which there were such well-known brands like YIT, Coldwater-Jocell AB, Prominent/Netsch, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies etc.
These and other foreign corporations regard PAP-FOR as the meeting place with the Russian consumers and also plan to find the distributors to represent their interests in Russia.
The General Manager of “9.Septembar d.o.o” Tomislav Petrovic noted: “Our investment projects at the Russian market during the current as well as the next year represent the new evolutionary cycle for our company and they are the base of our further development and growth. The company “9.Septembar” consider PAP-FOR 2010 as a good platform to present the new so-called 3d products that would improve production and increase consumption”.
The program of International Conference during PAP-FOR Russia 2010 is being developed focusing on the questions which will interest the professionals of pulp and paper industry tomorrow: impact of global economic recession on pulp and paper industry, foreign investments in Russia, implementing of advanced technologies etc. By initiative of one of the Conference organizer, PI Association, there will be speeches of top-managers of key Russian and foreign pulp and paper companies. In the coming future you will be able to find the detailed Conference program on the exhibition website.
